I just taped a Thanksgiving episode of this CBS daytime talk show called The Talk. They read my book and gave copies of An Awesome Book of Thanks! to the whole audience. It was nuts. If you own a TV you should check it out tomorrow at 1pm PST. 

The internet is rad! Just video chatted with the students of The Deloraine Primary School in rural Tasmania. Apparently because of the town’s distance from any major population the kids rarely get to go on school excursions or receive visits from authors so I was super stoked to be the first virtual visitor. Great kids. Great questions. Great experience. Living in the future is pretty fantastic.

Last night I was invited to watch a group of children I’ve never met perform a musical they wrote based on An Awesome Book.  I cannot emphasize enough how inspirational and downright heartwarming this was. To have the honor of being a part of these kids lives, and to have something I wrote inspire them to create something so beautiful… I honestly can’t put it into words. Thanks so much to all the folks at Otterspace Arts + Sycamore Elementary, you really made my year!
