Hey everyone, here is the tour schedule so far. We hit the road on Wednesday and will be making our way across the US and back reading books to kids and having fantastic adventures. If you live in any of these cities and are around on any of these dates drop me an email and maybe you can show me something new and interesting about your town that I never would have thought to look for!

My name is Dallas Clayton. A few years ago I wrote a kids book for my son. That book changed my entire life. Now I spend my days writing stories, drawing pictures, having big ideas and traveling the world sharing them with people of all ages.

Making books is great fun, but it can take a long time. I created this site as a place to post free daily poems, stories, drawings, photos and ideas. If you don't have money to buy a book, don't worry. If you don't have time to read a book, don't worry. If you don't ever plan on having kids, don't worry. This is all about sharing. I love sharing.

This is my first book. It's about dreaming big. I put it out myself and people liked it so much that Harper Collins decided to re-release it and share it with the world. Click here to check it out.

It was a place for poems and short ideas that weren't made specifically for little kids. In late 2011, The Greatest Writer Alive was released a limited-edition hardcover book of poetry and illustrations. It has since completely sold out. A digital version is available for free download here.
