Wow! This amazing children’s store in Vancouver, Canada called Collage Collage made a beautiful video about all the great things they’ve been creating. “An Awesome Book” themed-workshops have apparently been on the menu. If you have a shop and are looking to carry my books I’d love to hear from you!

My name is Dallas Clayton. A few years ago I wrote a kids book for my son. That book changed my entire life. Now I spend my days writing stories, drawing pictures, having big ideas and traveling the world sharing them with people of all ages.

Making books is great fun, but it can take a long time. I created this site as a place to post free daily poems, stories, drawings, photos and ideas. If you don't have money to buy a book, don't worry. If you don't have time to read a book, don't worry. If you don't ever plan on having kids, don't worry. This is all about sharing. I love sharing.

This is my first book. It's about dreaming big. I put it out myself and people liked it so much that Harper Collins decided to re-release it and share it with the world. Click here to check it out.

It was a place for poems and short ideas that weren't made specifically for little kids. In late 2011, The Greatest Writer Alive was released a limited-edition hardcover book of poetry and illustrations. It has since completely sold out. A digital version is available for free download here.
