A Waldorf Charter school in Portland. If you are from another country and don’t know what any of those words mean essentially it’s the best combination of ingredients for raising super-intelligent highly artistic confident children in the United States. They have the same teacher for basically their whole elementary school experience. In this case she was a magical sprite who calmed them by speaking in some made up singing language. The ease with which she taught really blew me back. It was like watching Michael Jordan dunk.

My name is Dallas Clayton. A few years ago I wrote a kids book for my son. That book changed my entire life. Now I spend my days writing stories, drawing pictures, having big ideas and traveling the world sharing them with people of all ages.

Making books is great fun, but it can take a long time. I created this site as a place to post free daily poems, stories, drawings, photos and ideas. If you don't have money to buy a book, don't worry. If you don't have time to read a book, don't worry. If you don't ever plan on having kids, don't worry. This is all about sharing. I love sharing.
