THE MASTER
THE MASTER
The ticket scalper
outside the theatre
is named Paul.
He is forty six
and eats his dinner with his hands.
He has been “in the game”
since he was thirteen,
which is the same story most ticket scalpers tell.
The industry is changing
they say,
internet, being able to print your tickets at home.
It’s slower now, but people
are always going to need to get in somewhere
and Paul will be there-
Standing inches away from
thirty years worth of musical evolution,
grinding out a living.
